A 1:34 minute smart phone video shot in the field shows a Cabrera/MF sicario and his small team of seven or so cartel gunmen place a severed head on a drone and then launched it—presumably carrying the head to the rival cartel group La Chapiza-CJNG. At the start of the video, the young sicario engages in a disrespectful speech about the opposing Jalisco cartel linked to Los Chapitos and how they are outsiders who are preying on the local people and basically assholes. Mocking opposing cartel members and using vulgar terminology are staples of cartel videos. In retribution, the severed head—presumably of one of their captured gunmen—is being flown back to them via drone delivery. The incident took place on a small hill covered with light scrub during daylight hours either on 30 January 2026 or likely a few days prior. The location is said to be in the Concordia and Villa Unión region in Southern Sinaloa. The video was uploaded to social media for PSYOPS purposes, both for threat messaging and to further Cabrera/MF narratives. It can be considered narco-terrorist propaganda—barbaric in nature given that a severed head is being utilized—and is meant to taunt, mock, and terrorize the opposing cartel members.[1]
