On 5 December 2023, Dr. John P. Sullivan, associate with C/O Futures, gave a virtual lecture entitled "Transnational Criminal-Terrorist Cyber / Hybrid Threats: Mexico and Brazil Cases and Beyond..." to the Joint Command & Staff Course, Irish Defence Forces, Kildare. Dr. Sullivan, Lieutenant (Retired), Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department (LASD), is a subject matter expert on transational organized crime, terrorism, gangs, and other forms of violent non-state actors (VNSAs). In his lecture he brought in decades of street policing and intelligence operations experience along with an extensive body of focused research and publication activity.
